Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)

Problem with Spotify and .m4a (mpeg-4) files. I am using the latest version on my native Joggler. I have LMS installed on an Ubuntu server which serves a SqueezeBox Radio and a Touch. When I try to use the Joggler to control the other two Spotify and .m4a files won't play. "Problem can't open f...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

ah - thats a good idea. Will try on another machine first. Could also fire up VirtualBox and try that.

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

No problem - rather have unintentional obtuse responses than none at all!

It does auto mount – I did try to boot the pc with the stick in but it didn't work. But I think I only tried that one.

Maybe there is something specific about my machine, or even than port. – I could try another one later.

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

No, haven't got that far.

I run
gzip -dc lucid-3.1.9joggler1-r107.img.gz | sudo dd of=/dev/sdX bs=1M

Then afterwards my pc won't mount the stick, so I can't put the script on.

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

no, I do it the correct way. I also tried manully unzipping and then sudo dd of=/dev/sdX bs=1M if=lucid-3.1.9joggler1-r107.img Which has the same result. I followed the instructions correctly - infact I think those on the article reference an old .gz, but I did use the correct filename. The resultan...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

Maybe I could try Windiskimager on a doze machine.

Remember I haven't got to using it in the Joggler yet - the problem is with my PC and usb stick.

I could do with a usb card reader anyway - maybe I could get one and try that.

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

Not a daft possibilty at all, sadly I did unplug it and reconnect it, several times.

I also tried to use the built in "create usb startup disk" to copy the image, but it failed without saying why.

This may be a daft possiblity but I assume the image is good?

Re: Bricked it....

I managed to do the same with a laptop power cable, on my less than a week old (to me anyway) Joggler :(

The screen doesn't come on but a red and green led do and there is a clicking noise.

I have a multimeter....

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

I am stuck on part 2 :( I got a joggler yesterday and managed to get it into a state where it displays just the OpenPeak logo. I did this by trying to boot into a desktop linux...wasn't really thinking... I managed to create the image on the usb stuck but now my computer won't mount it. I am using K...

Re: Lots of Jogglers for sale, £50+pnp

Joggler arrived this afternoon - just as I was having a coffee break so timing perfect.

I looks really nice, bit like a Samsung copy of an Apple product!

Re: Lots of Jogglers for sale, £50+pnp

Hi Mr_Dave, I am new to this forum so sorry if I should have sent you a message rather than post.... I am looking to get at least one Joggler, to use as a SqueezeBox player. I have a SqueezeBox Radio and was thinking of the Touch until I heard about these. Do you still have some left? If so how many...
