Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April

Oh, I see. I was beginning to hope the Faily Calendar would still be available, albeit not through the Joggler.

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April

After scrambling successfully to get all my Family Calendar entries moved over to Google Calendar by 31st May, I find today that our o2 Family Calendar is still there to look at (although I haven't yet tried to add an entry - perhaps I should?), and there is still a Joggler tab on the o2 Family page...

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?

I'm ok to do it manually. Trouble is, a lot of it isn't written down anywhere. I did not see the change coming, and thought once entries were made they were safe. In fact even now if you do 'View Calendar' it allows you to post/amend entries and there is no warning that the calendar will cease. Nor ...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April

Thank you Chiliblue, I am thinking I will give Google Calendar a go. I started a new thread about the o2 Calendar issue in case others are facing the same conundrum. So far I have re-established my Google Calendar and paid for Googasync which should enable me to sync my Nokia N8 calendar with my Goo...

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?

I'm on Step 1 at the moment, ie I've re-established my own Google Calendar and have started inputting the year's-worth of stuff that I'd already got on o2's Family Calendar, but without the stuff relating to the rest of the family. 've also paid for and started to download Googasync so that my Nokia...

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?

Oh, that's a good idea. But if they each have a GC of their own, registered to their email a/c, would they have to put the entries on themselves? Teenagers aren't all that reliable at that.

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?

Yes. I've been thinking about ways to make it work for us. (1) I could set up a 'club calendar' for my other half and I, and another for the pair of us with each teenager, and another for the whole family. But it's a bit of a faff. And I think it'd only email reminders, not text, because there seeme...

Re: Latest update

Thanks Dave - I've got Google Calendar up and running, but it isn't quite the same. It'll work fine for me running my own life, but it doesn't allow me to run everyone else's life in our family of 5 (do I sound bossy?!). I've posted a separate question in the hope of sharing ideas with others who us...

o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?

We LOVE our o2 Family Calendar, and I use it to send text alerts to whichever of the 5 of us needs it for dentist appointments, haircuts and the like. We can each, separately, have a Google Calendar, but it isn't the same. Who else uses it and will miss it? Does anyone know of an equivalent Family C...

Re: 'updated' joggler doesn't let me log in

Mission accomplished - Google Calendar login duly found and calendar resurrected. I had abandoned Google Calendar shortly after setting it up, because it seemed complicated to get used to and I much preferred the Joggler Family Calendar because of being able to set reminders to go to family members ...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April

Great to read so many contributions! I am another of th (rare?) simple users with no techie skills. I love my Joggler for the family calendar - especially the fact that it texts whichever of the 5 of us necessary, with whatever appointments/birthdays etc are needed. I don't think Google Calendar has...

Re: 'updated' joggler doesn't let me log in

Thanks - going there next - I think I have a google calendar registration set up for another phone, but not much used. Finding that and its logins will be 'interesting'.

Re: Latest update

Thanks - will do - we rely on its texts to our mobiles, but don't look at it itself very often.

'updated' joggler doesn't let me log in

Hello, my new-style Joggler wants me to log in before it will take me to my Calendar. However, it doesn't seem to like my log-in. Is this something to do with it saying it is a Google Calendar now?

Re: Latest update

I hadn't realised changes were afoot until the Guru instore on Saturday mentioned something, and today when I touched the Joggler to wake it up the screen looks very new and different. How can I find out what is happening? Have I missed an email somewhere?

Re: bootup problems

Big progress. Our student son did it for us. Now we get to the nice home screen with all the icons, and then to the family calendar. It seems to like to be hard wired rather than connect wirelessly, but that is small fry compared with the blotchy flashy mess we were looking at - much appreciated! An...

bootup problems

I loved my Joggler and had it set up to run the family calendar (and sometimes games). All was fine until I was unwell for a while and it didn't get used (it was always me who co-ordinated the calendar entries etc). Now I cannot get the screen to boot up. It is clearly trying to do something - flash...
