Re: Android 4.04 build - now fully working!
If that doesn't work you can try editing the Joggler's build.prop so it can masquerade as a phone but remember to back up an image of the USB drive first in case you break it!

Re: Android 4.04 build - now fully working!
Hi Gary, Buy it on your Android phone, copy the apk file to your SD card, upload it to Dropbox on your phone then install it from Dropbox on the Joggler. Simples! PS there's a small chance it won't be compatible with the Joggler's x86 architecture or Android version in which case you'll get a parsin...

Re: Logitech Media Server 7.9.1 + YouTube Plugin working
I've also given up with LMS on my Joggler & Pi, too many random problems with bitrate errors. Have now upgraded to Plex on a Synology NAS & very happy with it. I would guess that Plex running on a Linux Joggler would now be a better experience than with LMS.

Re: Recommendations for use as home automation controller?
At the risk of being accused of heresy, have you looked at a Pipo x8 or Raspberry Pi with a touchscreen?

Re: Android Joggler
@dwl99 Thank you for your help, all installed and working now! That was quick! You might also want to consider installing a fake GPS app as some apps insist on location services before they will work. Also a rotation manager to stop some apps opening in portrait mode. I screwed up a memory stick by...

Re: Android Joggler
It just means there's no Youtube & iPlayer etc. Yes you can try an SD card & adapter but you might need to try a few devices as the Joggler is quite fussy about what it will boot from.

Thanks for that really fast transaction. I've just flashed mine with the SqueezePlay OS and it's already integrated into our Squeezebox audio network...nice little device. :D You're very welcome. The other one was bought by someone who didn't really understand what it was and is returning it <sigh>...

[SOLD] 2 boxed Jogglers for sale
2 of my 4 Jogglers have been gathering dust since my Raspberry Pi & Synology NAS have taken over many of their functions. They are both boxed & have been flashed with the most recent updated OpenPeak software. I have listed them on eBay, item # ************************. EDIT - only 1 now ava...

Re: Volumio on Joggler
This looks interesting. Would you also be able to look at making a version to run from USB? The Joggler's internal memory is notoriously flaky and there is a high chance of the installation becoming corrupted after a few months and needing reinstalled. USB installations have been much more stable an...

They can show the GUI from the Echo to show what's playing music and the Artwork wise or what your commands are also it shows mistakes etc. You could use as a bedside clock / radio . Set up as a dedicated device say for a weather station . Or none of the above and send them to me ;-) Sent from my M...

Re: Borked Joggler low effort fix please
I’ve defected to Plex as a media server on my RPi. Lots of mp3 files were throwing up bitrate error messages and refusing to play. It seems to be quite a common problem and I gave up trying to fix it.
