Looks like it could be a good Joggler alternative...

Re: S/PDIF output

Thank you pete for your very detailed reply. I understand TOSLINK is optical, the wire I was referring to was in the internal wiring to connect up the TOSLINK socket to the Joggler. I haven't opened my Joggler yet so I didn't know what gauge of wire to use or if I needed multi or single core. Thanks...

Re: S/PDIF output

Thanks Pete. If the one I ordered is too large I shall get one of those. Surely I need the transmitter version though? Does anyone have any tips on doing the case cutouts? I bought a rotary tool but have never used one before so I'd appreciate some advice on which tip to use. Also, what kind of wire...

S/PDIF output

Re: S/PDIF output

Thanks Pete. That's all I could find too. Might have to get one of those and see what I can remove to make space for it.

Any chance you could post a link? I can't find one at all.

Re: S/PDIF output

It's this sort of thing that you need put without the phono bit , Others have canabalised them from old tv receivers like bt vision boxes etc Yes, that's what I am looking for, but without the phono connection. No matter what combination of TOSLINK / connection / optical / transmitter I put I can't...

Where can I get one of these optical connectors and what the heck are they actually called? I've searched Maplin, RS and all sorts and can't seem to find it.

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

I have been having problems trying to get my jogglers onto my wireless network. I just read that you need to have the SSID broadcast for it to work and mine is hidden. Once it is connected, would I be able to hide it again or will it always need to be broadcast?

24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC

That rather depends on if you have any 24/96 source material! If you do then it's probably worth spending a little more on something decent. The Dacmagic XS is probably one of the cheapest at the moment, or maybe a Schiit Modi? I have a UCA202 and find the analogue output too quiet so I use the opti...

Re: 24/96 Squeezeplay and External USB DAC

I don't know but for around the same price you could get a Behringer UCA202 which does work, although it only does 16/48 and not 24/96.
