Re: JazzMod:Source InDev 1 (coming soon)

Another month, another excuse... I'm still trying. Due to a few issues, my old build box is no longer a build box (as some of you may have seen on Twitter a while back, had to reconfigure it for my brother). Got a day to get this sorted so setting up a build VM. I'll try and incorporate libhoudini a...

Re: Web OS is open source... will it be open for Joggler?

Probably not as the Joggler has an x86 CPU and WebOS is for ARM CPUs. (I just sold my HP Touchpad as I was quite frustrated with the lack of apps. The android port worked quite well but I now have a Galaxy Tab2 which is much better!) Might be possible http://www.openwebosproject.org/docs/build_guid...

Re: JazzMod:Source InDev 1 (coming soon)

I'd really like to have a go at doing a build of Android for X86 and for the Joggler. If anyone could post some links on how to make a build environment and how to use the resources mijuu (mporting) has provided, that would be fantastic ! I've downloaded the files mijuu has made available ( http://...

Looking forward to it! Any reason for Ubuntu *11*.10? Thos Ebuyer budget PC's sure look tempting, if that's what you are going for ;-) Meanwhile...What's the state of play r.e. Android 4.1.1 Jelly bean and Joggler. It runs great on my 'old' phone, well if 1 year can really be considered old!!! 11.1...

Re: JazzMod:Source InDev 1 (coming soon)

Thank you for this. One quick request for later versions :) - could you use .zip or .gz format to compress the images? The 7zip program can't be used to just extract the file to the standard output, so you have to extract the thing rather than just send it to the flash drive directly. Yep :) Right,...

Re: JazzMod:Source InDev 1 (coming soon)

I assume you're referring to the tar error: tar: Option --overwrite is not supported What version of tar are you using? GNU tar has this option. I dont think BSD tar does (mac os) but I would have thought you could download a version of GNU tar. HTH I am - thank you very much! Downloading GNU tar a...

So, Jazzmista please help me! I'm building on Ubuntu 10.04. I've synced the android-x86 source tree and copied Mijuus source overlay over the files. Then '. build/envsetup.sh' and 'make -j2 iso_img TARGET_PRODUCT=joggler'. I just need to get a working source as a starting point for starting to buil...

Seen as you have a solution, I've changed the purpose of the repo slightly - now it's called the OpenFrame Community App Library and split into two parts - openframe-app-library-server (https://github.com/jamiehoyle/openframe-app-library-server) and openframe-app-library-client (https://github.com/j...

Nice find Buzz! I've created a GitHub repo for our custom App Shop (possibly including our telnet-activating icon). https://github.com/jamiehoyle/openframe-app-shop If anyone wants to help with this then I will need your Github username (to give you pull/push access). You can do this by leaving a re...
