Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 2) for OpenFrame
Have you got a USB wifi card installed in your Joggler? Might sound like a stupid question but I was tearing my hair out with a similar issue, until I discovered the 'betting shop' ebay Jogglers don't have Wifi cards. Andy. Hi Andy mine (3 devices) do have a internal wifi card. Did you open your jo...

Re: Squeezeplay OS and internal Wifi
Cheers. It'll be solely for SqPOS so that should be fine. Thanks for the help.

Re: Squeezeplay OS and internal Wifi
Cheers Jimbob. I was looking at the mention in the SqPOS thread but it only seems to mention the chipset, and not a specific card. Maybe I need to read it again.

Squeezeplay OS and Internal Wifi
Hi, I have bought a couple of the ex betting shop Jogglers, and intend to run them with Squeezeplay OS flashed internally. However, they don't come with an internal USB wifi card (Looks like it was removed, along with the antennae). Can anybody recommend something that is compatible with Squeezeplay...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
OK, I can confirm that the DNS now works, and resolv.conf is created correctly, to pick up the DNS server dynamically. Thanks for that. Here's my rc.local. Not touched it myself at all. #!/bin/sh -e # # rc.local # # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel. # Make sure that the ...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Sorry, didnt realise you were waiting for me. I solved my DNS problems by manually editing resolv.conf to point to the correct place for my setup. Will take a look later to see if you suggestion would work too - I still need it to point to a server on my internal LAN, it's the same server that is ru...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Thanks for the help. X tries to start, but then drops back to the console - I see an error of Could not init logging classes. Permission errors on ~/.xbmc As it couldn't find my home directory, then ~ = / for my current login, so that doesn't seem right? Should I be logged in as root or joggler? [Ed...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I've installed the latest version, and it starts to boot, but it just dumps me into the console at a Ubuntu login prompt, rather than running xbmc. Am I doing something stupid? When I log in as joggler into the console, it also says 'No directory, logging in with HOME=/'. Looked in /home and it appe...

Re: Damaged Joggler for sale
Is this still for sale? Would make the perfect partner to my Joggler with broken Flash - Can combine the two and make a working one.

Re: Another non-booting joggler
When you say you put the reflashing tool on a stick plugged straight in (No hub I presume) where did you plug the keyboard so that you could follow the fs0:/boot.nsh procedure? Was it on the internal (wifi removed) usb port?

Re: Another non-booting joggler
Tried two hubs, including one that happily boots Squeeze OS on another joggler and had no luck whatsoever :-( When I enter the boot.nsh command the usb key access light flashes for a few seconds, but then nothing. Still stuck at the O2 logo. I seem to remember seeing a thread somewhere on here (That...

Re: amahi.org "home digital assistant" dlna etc
I'm running Amahi on an HP microserver. It stores my main iTunes library, which I also access via squeeze OS on my two jogglers and a couple of Subsonic client apps too. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I'm happy to tinker around with Linux, but there are times where you just want to install somet...

Re: Another non-booting joggler
Yep, It won't boot from any USB stick now, even the ones that it used to boot from quite happily. The USB stick flashes briefly, but it just sits at the O2 screen.
Not tried plugging a keyboard in, I guess that's my next step.

Another non-booting joggler
I've scanned the forums, and found a number of related posts, but I'm not sure what the most up to date knowledge is... I have a Joggler, which used to be fine. Over the space of a few months it became more unreliable - After powering off it wouldn't boot the next time. Usually, reflashing with Roob...

Re: Topping amp for Squeezeplay/Joggler?
I'm using a topping TP32 with my Joggler and running the Squeeze OS. It's used in USB DAC mode and I'm very pleased with it so far.
Ebay seller was called apdigi, and it shipped pretty quickly from Hong Kong. It was also the cheapest TP32, when factoring in shipping costs.

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Cool, thanks. That's exactly what I'm using for my external USB device since I fixed the missing asound.conf.
