I also installed it using the line by line method and it is doing same thing. bul-ext2-1028-43-bullseye-5.10.189op.img.gz dated August 9, 2023 On reboot it appears t...

Re: Joggler Debian current OS and Hamclock installation image

Yes here using an SDR radio for NOAA satellite imagery....built this 4 years ago. Everything including antenna is mounted in the attic. Using an RPi for this. See here. Most difficult part was building the antenna...then switched to a simple antenna and that worked even better... https://forums.home...

Re: Joggler Debian current OS and Hamclock installation image

With a working Openpeak 2 with 2Gb eMMC you could install the image (shrinking it a bit) to one of these. I started here with a 32Gb stick then downsized it to the smallest Gb stick I had around which was 4Gb.

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

Great news Ronnie!!

Yes I have to do that with current build on the OpenFrame2. It should hopefully work...none the less it only takes about 20 minutes to build it from scratch now....

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

Here is the manual way via command line: 1 - boot up with new partition 2 - ssh to Openframe 3 - sudo nano /etc/fstab 4 - make it look like this: # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier # for a device; this may be used...

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

Same here when I have used the script. GParted will not fit with the 1Gb partition. So create an old Ubuntu 14 boot stick and use GParted to extend the partition. You have to boot from a USB hub when you do this so that you can utilize a wireless Keyboard. Not totally sure what JiveLite is. Can I ru...

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

Good news! of-expand does not work AT ALL Don't expand it to 2Gb as Squeezeplayer fits fine at 1Gb. OR Boot up with an Ubuntu stick with desktop and use GParted to expand the partition to 2Gb or do it the manual command line way. 1 - https://jwills.co.uk/category/o2-joggler/ 2 - https://www.golinuxc...

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

One other issue is that I cannot shut down or reboot via the Squeezeplay menu. I can though logging in via SSH and running the script.
The left top button shuts off the screen which works fine.

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

This time installed a lite desktop and and it all fit fine on the Openframe 2. Ideally a perfect hard mod add would be to use an internally mounted SD card or USB stick leaving the external USB port free. Even soldering a PATA port to the traces on the motherboard would be a tight fit for an SSD car...

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

Redoing it again. This time resizing it right away. Then configuring an xrdp desktop that I can remote to and seeing if this all fits on the 2Gb partition. BTW you should replace the old WLAN / Bluetooth card with an "el cheapo" Intel combo bluetooth card. They are around $10 these days. T...

Re: Debian Bullseye for OpenFrame

What "image not recognized"? You are copying both the compressed gz file and md5 file over to your reflash boot stick eh? I did initially only copy the compressed image over and it did not install. Your USB stick may be corrupt. https://birdslikewires.net/download/openframe/images/debian/l...
