Still running embedded XP here on 15 Openpeak devices. These have been modded a bit.
1 - Seabios replacing EFI bios
2 - NIC bios replaced
3 - using SSD drive
Running a modified version of XPe.
Will pull together all of the drivers and post them on Microsoft Drive.

Re: Best OS for viewing RTSP Stream for IP Camera via Ethernet?
Seabios is a X86 replacment BIOS for the Joggler EFI BIOS. Windows 8-11 works except that it is really slow. Embedded XP works the best. Mine are running on a different Openpeak hardware similar to Jogglers but modded to run the OS on a SSD. You can run it on a USB stick but it is much slower. Best ...

Re: Best OS for viewing RTSP Stream for IP Camera via Ethernet?
Welcome to the Joggler forum @JogglerTom. I have not tried the Joggler Android build in a few years. That said using Ubuntu / Windows embedded on modded Jogglers. Modded ==> 16Gb SSD drives for OS. I do not utilize the Joggler's here (15 online 24/7) with RTSP streams. Years ago the Jogglers did str...

No.
I did have it running for a while on my OF2; then updated and it wouldn't start afterwards.
Installed Bookworm / Squeezeplay on a USB stick and all is well now.

Re: Poll : What OS are you running?
One OS not mentioned above was Windows XPe. I run 15 Openpeak devices modded with Seabios, XPe, SSD drives now for many years for my tabletop touchscreens running old Windows stuff like Homeseer Touch and Leviton HAI Omnitouch software. Works great for me. Totally remote control these devices from m...

Windows 7 does not install on a Seabio'd Joggler. Best is Windows XP. Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 do install but it runs too slow.

Its on Amazon for around $20 USD.

Be carefull when you open the Openframe 2. I used a credit card to lift the LCD while pushing on the tabs from the inside.

Changing out the Broadcom combo WiFi to an Intel combo WiFi worked nicely. Way back tried a Broadcom HD video card to run Kodi and stream video and it worked well with Ubuntu 14.X.
