Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download v3.048 here!
Thanks very much. I will try again , just had hoped to avoid the rigmarole of all that if possible. The original post says that there are instructions for updating from a previous version which seem not to exist now if they did before, and there is also an option on the joggler to check for updates ...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download v3.048 here!
I have 4 jogglers running pnp III, 3.045. Can someone please explain how far backwards do I have to go to install 3.048. Simply booting to a joggler with 3.048 on the usb does not appear to work. The only apparent change is that the joggler no longer properly sets the right time and date and the liv...

Re: Recover a usb after using it with win32diskimager
But I think I am correct in saying fdisk is not there , at least not by default, in Windows Vista or 7.
Might be wrong but that was where my question started out.
Thanks

Recover a usb after using it with win32diskimager
Having used this utility to create boots disks for the various packages distributed in this forum , how do I subsequently recover the whole of the usb for another purpose, please ?
In the old days i'd use fdisk I suppose , but with Windows Vista or Win7

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Jamie, Excellent that you should think to update your progress and aspirations for the Joggler, and to suit various users too. As someone who is only just competent enough to reap the benefits of your efforts and not intellectually to assist them I very much appreciate your efforts and updates. I lo...

Link to the zip file does not work for me , unless perhaps it is the work network stopping access. Just get a blank when clicked on and saving target of the hypertext does nto work either.
Any ideas what is wrong or I am doing wrong ?

Re: Openpeak Application installation
great thanks. Seems it might be a good idea to shift a copy as you say.
trying also to find images or reviews of the apps which once used to be available, don't really want to install them to decide what I want to retain. long term, any ideas ?

Openpeak Application installation
Can anyone advise how to link to an ftp or http address from which I can install one or other of the Openpeak alternative apps to a Joggler ? I also have the tgz files on a usb stick but cannot see how to link an installation to that source, if someone told me how to deal with that it would suit me ...

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live for stock OS - FIXED JERKY PLAYBACK
You are following the old installation guide. The new guide is available here: http://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=129 Although the only difference in the installation is that there is no longer a app.cgi file so you don't need to the the chmod +x app.cgi line! The chmod +x iPl...

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live for stock OS - FIXED JERKY PLAYBACK
Tried to follow these instructions and install this wget ftp://aero.exotica.org.uk/pub/mirrors/exotica/joggler/files/iPlayer.tgz tar xvf iPlayer.tgz rm iPlayer.tgz chmod +x app.cgi but the tar extract runs , and no app.cgi comes out, also tried the wget http://files.exotica.org.uk/?file=joggler/file...

okay many thanks, just the clarity I wanted.spoyser wrote:Yes you can install both at the same time, although tbh the one that installs with pnp suffers from stuttering and jerky playback so I would recommend uninstalling that one anyway.

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live for stock OS - FIXED JERKY PLAYBACK
Can you please tell me if I can setup this iplayer app on a joggler already running the iplayer app loaded via plug and pimp. What if anything do I need to do if this is not the case in order to try this newer development which seems to be getting such good reports
