Re: Linux Mint for the O2 Joggler

I ignored Mint when I was trying out different operating systems a while ago. And because my JoliOS image stopped working, I thought i would give it a go. Mint 11 on the Joggler works lovely and is pretty fast compared to JoliOS. I don't use a keyboard, but I can navigate around most things using fi...

Re: New Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.4 + Google Apps

Hopefully not going Off-Topic but I intend to use this on my bedside table. How can I get the screen to turn off, but resume when touching the screen. I dont want a clock displayed all night and the lowest brightness is still quite a lot. Anyone else using it like this? EDIT: Also, how can I backup...

Re: In car power supply?

Hi there, I thought it would be best to start a new topic instead of posting in the other power supply thread, hopefully thats alright. Does anyone know what power supply would be best to power the joggler in a car, I remember a guy posted pictures and instructions for installing it inside a car on...

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3

Does anybody else get annoyed at having to unlock the screen when it has been inactive, as there is no real need for it. I have tried an app called 'Nolock' which works well and unlocks the screen at boot up and never locks again. The screen will still dim. The only problem is that this seems to sto...

Excellent work spoyser. Its works very well, and I had no problems installing. Instructions were spot on.

No problem rebooting.
Only thing I have to do is re-synchronise the clock.

I had clock sync issues with previous versions, but this version syncs every boot up using wifi.

I have set clocksync to sync at startup as soon as it finds a connection.

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3

I have tried installing the original image to see if that has the audio jack problem. Never done this before, and mine is stuck on the "O2" screen. I created 3 partitions (all logical - not extended or primary - is this right?) of 1G, 1G, 6G for android, data and sdcard. I copied the orig...

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3

Has anyone found a radio streaming app that works? The only one I've found is an old version of Resco Radio (latest version does not work on the Joggler) but the list of stations is quite limited. Tune In (RadioTime) also doesn't work. ( The latest version of resco radio free worked fine for me. UK...

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3

Is anybody else getting the occasional hangs and 'force close' or 'wait' dialogs with the top bar icons turning green? I get this on some occasions. I seem to get hangs the longest when you pull down the notification bar if an app has failed to install. It can take a while, but it comes back eventu...

Even though titanium reports the device as not being rooted, Button savior (root) works fine :)

Re: new Android 2.2.2 Mijuu Build 1.2.3 ** TESTING PHASE **

I managed to get the market to work without using Titaniumpro. Stopping the framework and market, and then clearing the data with manage apps. I had to do it twice as it did not seem to work first time. All apps? easiest way to check is to see if you can see "pulse" and "skynews"...

Re: Poll : What OS are you running?

If people want a finger-friendly OS for Joggler more of them should try JoliOS rather than Android for the time being, IMHO. Sorry asantaga, but more of JoliOS works well on Joggler at present and you can carry most of your apps and preferences wherever you go if you also use Jolicloud on Google Ch...
