Re: Mediaserver Debian Version
Sorry, I've not been very clear, I was just wondering quickly whether anyone new about the defeat option, if I could download the old 7.8 I'd just do that... I have LMS running on my synology NAS (Linux), which has a package, so there's nothing special to do - it's currently 7.7.3-113 When I did my ...

Re: Mediaserver Debian Version
Oh yes, the mediaserver is on a NAS, however I believe I have to install that to enable "defeat destructive select". However I did now install it, and it did not enable that option under the player settings. Anyone know how to now enable the defeat option?

Mediaserver Debian Version
Updating a new joggler, and I normally go to http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/index.php?ver=7.8 and get the file something like this: logitechmediaserver_7.9.1~1505480690_all.deb however, that's gone, and it's now 7.9, but the 7.9 version won't unpack due to space, so... I see there are now ...

Re: Jogglers available
Hello, I am in Italy, and I am interested in the two jogglers. Please tell me something more about your proposal. Very sorry, didn't see you message, for some reason notifications were off. My proposal is that you pay for postage, and I will post them to you. One blew a fuse when I plugged in a lap...

Jogglers available
I have two non-working jogglers. One where I fried the fuse with the wrong power supply, and despite many helpful photos, none match my joggler circuit board, so I can't find the fuse to short circuit. I have another one I bought off e-bay which didn't work on arrival, but can probably be used for p...

Re: Wrong Power supply bricks device?
I am just wondering why my circuit board looks so different to yours... I need to melt all the plastic off the power leads first where they're connected, to see what's underneath.

Any thoughts? Otherwise I'll have to bin this one and get another one.

I've been away from the Joggler scene for 6 months or so, and just noticed the same thing.

Re: Wrong Power supply bricks device?
Well, sorry guys, it's been 2 years since this thread was in action. I had 4 jogglers and just one was blown up, so I carried on with the others. In the meantime I built a whole house, including racks and 2 cat7 ethernet in every room, so been pretty busy, and I guess, having fun doing it. (Apart fr...

SqueezeOS Reboot Script
Sometimes (weekly) my jogglers just freeze up, and I plan to mount some in the wall and use PoE which means a reboot requires going to data cabinet and unplugging / replugging which is not very WAF friendly. I have a NAS with an intranet site, I was thinking I could create a link which runs a script...

Re: Touching when screen off constitutes action
Thanks. Touching at the top can either power off, or loads the context menu of "play all by artist" etc. Not sure I understand about the X-server having control. Whatever makes the screen go blank, and makes the screen come back, has control. Why would it then pass through to the underlyin...

Re: Touching when screen off constitutes action
I realised I have left off some important info... I am running Squeezos. What this means for example is that if I touch the screen to wake it up and before the screen went blank it was in a list of music, it will start playing whatever I touched when the screen was blank. This gets very annoying ver...

Touching when screen off constitutes action
The screen gets hot and can also suffer burn out left on, however when in screen save mode, touching the screen to wake it actually carries out the action. Ie when playing it changes the screen mode to full screen art. Any way to have it just wake the screen up with first touch as you'd expect?

Re: Wrong Power supply bricks device?
Thanks guys. I have an un-networked squeeze joggler in my workshop. Took it to my house for monthly music update, went back and just happened to have laptop in workshop, and plugged in the wrong one from the rats nest of wires... Now that the sockets in workshop are powered and the house is about to...

Wrong Power supply bricks device?
I currently have a mess of cables and two power supplies. I accidentally plugged in my laptop supply which has same adaptor.
Now the device won't start with correct supply.
Think it's bricked?
