Re: Electric fans disrupting Joggler?
So today I replaced my cheapo dodgy surge protected extension leads with some proper ones. And the problem seems to have gone away now. It looks like the surge protector didn't real protect from surges... Consider it case closed please. And sorry I should have tried changing the extension leads befo...

Electric fans disrupting Joggler?
Hi all, So as you all know the weather is getting a bit warmer at present, unless you're from the southern hemisphere, I've started to use electric fans around the house. However, every time I switch the fan on or off, the Joggler either makes the sound "pop", or it completely freezes need...

Re: SqueezePlay OS Recipes
I've got another one - to change the font! Useful if you need another Unicode font with more languages (e.g. Chinese/Japanese/Korean) in. - Find a normal font and a bold font (e.g. Arial Unicode and Arial Bold Unicode from Win 7), rename them to FreeSans.ttf and FreeSansBold.ttf - Install SSH - SFTP...

Re: New OpenPeak firmware update (30th April 2012)
Ok thanks! I was hoping to cut the amount of work I might just go directly to Xubuntu instead then, because the GUI on the native OS restarts itself once every few days which is pretty annoying.

Re: New OpenPeak firmware update (30th April 2012)
Hi all, After the automatic update to the new firmware, it seems like the SSH & Telnet daemons have been overwritten and I can't SSH or Telnet to it any more. So I tried reinstalling it by extracting sshscp.zip to a FAT USB stick, but the new firmware doesn't seem to read the content of the USB ...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
My point though is that O2 advertised and took money , some at full price for units that offered a SMS send and receive facility - with 50 free texts per month included although the free allowance is not my issue - it's the messaging functionality which can't be replaced . Some people made a purcha...

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
I've already changed the asound.conf to the simple version, but the sound still gets dropped after a few hours. Any ideas please? This is the latest version 1.31 on native. Hmm. I'm sorry, but I've never seen that before - dropping out on the asound.conf with no additional mixer. If you're on the n...

Audio Pass-through?
Hi all, I am just wondering, is there any way to achieve audio pass-through on the Joggler? With or without extra hardware. What is it, I've got an HTPC in the kitchen/dining room, which I use about once a day during dinner time. I've got an O2 Joggler in the bedroom running SqueezePlay (thank you R...

Actually, by "external audio interface", what exactly do you mean?
Code: Select all
pcm.!default {
type hw
card 0
}
ctl.!default {
type hw
card 0
}

Re: SqueezePlay for Joggler (Standalone Native and Ubuntu)
Basically, the sound is sped up - Chris Moyles and the crew speaks in a weird sped up voice, and after every minute or so it would pause and say buffering for a few seconds then carry on with the sped up voices. It is fine using Tarkan's build. Normal music listening is fine too. Thanks. Great work...
