Re: Squeezeplay and external drives
Yes, just enabled upnp client and it shows up as active in the plugin list - but I cant see any way of accessing it via the joggler squeezeplayer menu. Also having problems with it switching between mysqueezebox.com and atom - so sometimes the Spotify plugin won't work - I've deleted the default one...

Squeezeplay and external drives
I've just upgraded to PnPIII with Squeezeplay etc and got it working fine with my Spotify account, yay. Just one question that I've not yet been able to find an answer to. I have all my music on a network drive and can access it via the PLug and Play, but that's a bit of a faff really and it would b...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he
Finally got round to updating to the new PnPIII after abandoning my Joggler after the update rendered it useless - apart from having to reformat my USB stick between reflashing and the PnP update it's all working fantastically well - thanks again for the hard work Dave!

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
You did indeed help me ... I'm only technical up to a point but have really enjoyed playing around with the Joggler (even though I don't understand what most of the telnet commands mean). Really appreciate all the help though ... if there's anything I can do for the Joggler community let me know!

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
No consolation needed ... it works!! Looks fab - just getting Spotify on there and i'll be a very happy bunny. Depending on how stable it is I might even pick up a second one to give to my mum - she really likes mine but up till now it's always been a bit flaky. Really impressed with this new versio...

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
OK this is what I've done: Reflashed the Joggler with the birdslikewires app Rebooted the Joggler - native OS Registered my name etc and set up wired and wireless connection Formatted the memory stick (a Kingston DataTraveler G3 4GB) using the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool v2.2.3 (screenshot 1) Do...

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
I think I'm going to have to give up ... gutted. I've done the reflash, given it my details, got the wireless networking working. Completely reformatted two different memory sticks and ejected them. Downloaded a fresh version of the PnpII software, extracted it to the stick, put the stick in the Jog...

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
OK I'm giving it another go today - doing a full format on the USB stick rather than a quick one - but it gives me different options - NTFS, FAT, FAT32 and exFAT ..... which one should I be doing?

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
The ones I used were a a 4Gb Kingston Datatraveller and a 1GB "Super Flash2. Neither worked ..... when it first started booting up the lights on both flashed, but then it rebooted into the O2 OS. No idea what doing a scrub with Gparted is ... can someone explain in idiot terms please? FWIW thou...

Re: PnP Mk II - Here it is!
Having big problems getting this to work. Got it reflashed successfully then put the PnP2 stuff on the USB stick and all it would do was reboot to the default Joggler OS. Read on here that it could be an issue with the USB stick so dug out another one, put the stuff on there, booted it up and it sat...

Re: Prevent automatic O2 updates??
I wonder if O2 are likely to do anything at all any more? After that big initial burst when they sold them cheap and then put loads of apps in the app shop, there've been couple of updates and then nothing. I don't think they're even selling them on the O2 online shop anymore.

Re: Increasing the sound?
Note for anyone else trying a USB soundcard .... have a play with the PnP sound settings before panicking! I thought mine didn't work properly because it ranged from not working at all (iplayer) to helium fuelled voices (Squeezeplayer BBC app) to full on PInky and Perky (The Lounge)! I've just chang...

Got my soundcard today, not the same one but a similar (but only 5.1) and am amazed at the difference. Love that I'll be able to listen to my spotify playlist over the sound of the washing machine now! Thanks

Re: Increasing the sound?
Good stuff, I'll get those and give it a go! It is only in the kitchen so I don't need it to be booming - just audible over the sound of a running tap!

Increasing the sound?
Are there any hacks for increasing the sound? I use an external speaker which is okay, but the sound I get from it using my joggler is tiny compared with, say, using it with my ipod. There's obviously some sort of limiter in the joggler ... anyone found a way of increasing the sound level?

OMG this is an amazing app! Thanks so much for this! I had installed the earlier version but couldn't get it to work, the icons did nothing despite me doing the chmod command ... but this one works perfectly. Wow!
