Dan,

I added that to the "img" build along with a "few" drivers (hubs, touchscreen, et al).

That doesn't seem to do the trick unfortunately. :(

Here's some quickie instruction to install DHS on Dans build.

1 - Made Dans build pagefile 742Mb - rebooted
2 - installed Digital Home server
3 - went to web gui on another computer (http://www.xxx.yyy.zzz:9000)
4 - installed all of the widgets and modules
5 - shut down DHS
6 - restarted DHS
7 - during restart it installed the widgets and modules - takes a few minutes (20 things to download and install)
8 - Then watch the console TS and it will install the settings, load widgets and restart DHS
8 - Once all of them are installed you will see the widgets on the bottom tool bar

I have yet to try the widgets and will do so in the next few days.
Personally I prefer not to connect my touchscreens to the internet so will not be connecting DHS to Google.

My whole preferences thing is to have the touchscreens only talk to the "mothership" whenever possible.

Pictures (maybe too big though).

Pete_c,

Not sure if it makes a lot of sense to use DHS without Internet connection. Quite a few modules and widgets require an Internet connection.

Google accounts are only needed for the Calender, which is using Google Calender as database. If you don't use it no need to define Google accounts.

DHS is a touchscreen application that works on the Joggler.

Apologies, replied to this in the Android forum.

Managed to boot the XP image.

It wouldn't boot with the usb stick in a USB hub

Few drivers missing
Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus
CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller (probably Zigbee device)

In device manager

Been trying to get Airfoil to work (airplay software) on your image, it crashes when the options are open, might be something to do with the face it cant see the sound card?

Sorry to resurrect an old post.

It appears the download links are no longer live. Where can i get Foshiz Mini v2?

Is this the current recommended windows build for the joggler? (Would consider Mevi's XP SP3 but concerned about flash disk wearing out).

Thanks,

James

The reason I haven't tried any of the Windows builds is because I couldn't download them - either this or Mevi's build. I haven't tried in a couple of months but it would be great to have a working XP build (if only to occupy my 'tinker-time' while my wife watches gardening programmes or 'Grand Designs' on telly).

My XP build is now hosted on a more reliable file sharing site. You should be able to download following the links on my post #1. see the link in my signature. :)

Works great on a USB HDD, but as Jimeney says, it's likely that using XP will result in excessive wear on a flash stick if you're planning for it to be your main Joggler OS. That said, I did test it on both flash and HDD storage, so I know it'll work on either.
