Xubuntu 11.10: How to set the brightness permanently ?

Hi,

in Ubuntu it's no problem, but does somebody know,
how i could set the brightness permanently ?
Cause set it manually at every boot is not the best method

I don't know, how to give options for the xfce4-power-manager -> brightness-plugin
and xbacklight didn't work

brightness is configured from sysfs interface so you could add to /etc/rc.local something like

echo "5" >/sys/class/backlight/openframe-bl/brightness
