Mick, one (last?) question:
Everything works fine when the UBS stick is plugged directly into the Joggler.
But when I use a HUB, I can not get it to boot. I tried all 4 ports. Ports 1-3 give a 2 line message on the O2 screen. (cansomething about 0.txt....)
On Port#4 USB stick blinks a bit longer, no messages on the O2 screen, but after a while, it resets and boots into the internal OS.

What am I doing wrong this time? Do I need to edit something in the boot script / EFI drive?
I am using a cheap passive 'Trust' USB 2.0 HUB

Put the stick in your pc and double click the withhub.cmd file & try again.

It's a Trust 4 port, can be powered but I'm using it without.

I have one hub that refuses to boot , the cheap trust one works fine , I'm pretty sure its something to do with the speed of the stick not booting in time .
I always use port 4
Yesterday I broke 2 builds just messing around so I need to re do the USB stick :-(

Just been checking three other 4 port usb hubs and the trust one is the only one that boots (powered and unpowered)

Hi Hawsey;
can you let me know what kind of Trust Hub you have (any ID on the back?). Than I could oder this one and be sure that it should work....
(I would like to have a small passive one, if possible)

Thank you Heiner

Allways after building XP do first boot straight in to Joggler , second boot with Trust hub , always in port 4 .
Third boot with xp in port 4 and GPS in any other .
oo
Its a weird thoing with Jogglers and USB hubs that has never been fully explored or explained , the other hub I have is a cheap generic 7 port one thIat happily boots BuZz Ubuntu builds and also Android, but not this ( well not on this USB stick anyway ) p

I dragged the bright screen icon and the Igo in to Startup as I was sick of starting them up manually every time , first re boot It worked perfect , nice bright screen and booted straight in to IGO .
But next reboot no bright screen and subsequently the same so that's a shame .
Is there any search post code on igo ? I can't find it if there is .
I've had the odd crash but have blamed it on the hub dangling out of the side with all attachments .l

I did exactly the same, worked once and not again. I have noticed that sometimes when I click the brightness icon a message pops up saying failed, click again and it works.

I've done a very lite Win10 build, no MS edge, no Cortana, no store and loads of other stuff deleted. Of course this will only work on a coreboot joggler.

Have just noticed that squeezeplay has extremely low audio for some reason, ( more tinkering )

My USB stick just got corrupted somehow so now wont boot, tried chkdsk /f and it said it had fixed it but no luck.
Re wrote the image and it's working again, I will let you know when I have the image uploaded. It wont have the link to Plex as that's a link to my server.
Can't install the PLEX client APP as I deleted the Store.
The dashboard command software is an evaluation copy, to buy is $39. I do have a Bluetooth ODB II adapter but not tried it yet.
GPS and iGO are working, just trying to sort out squeezeplay audio.

P.S. Late response.... I was offline due to internet provider change - took a while, but now everything is up&runnimg again

Had a good play with your W10 IGO image today Mickchip , it works much more fluid than the XP one I think , also W10 boot up is nice and quick .
Unfortunately my image broke again :-( its on a 120 gig SSD , I need to have a means of leaving the Joggler on permanently during the day in my vehicle with some sort of battery set up .
I am even thinking of maybe a cheap W10 tablet running IGO would be good with a battery included :-)

Just found that if you do a quick finger swipe from left to right while on the satnav screen, you can open another program, i.e. Squeezeplay and have the music playing while navigating.
